I thought that JP names were to have JP titles (if found on print like Obi or the spine) above even what’s on the cover?
Because it happened that way for me when I put a cover title that wasn’t in JP.

Destructive edits make me a little bit insecure, so I’d appreciate it if someone would take a look

I could do with Edit #115880544 - MusicBrainz being approved before this potential merge. Tracks 3 and 4 are currently using the same recording by mistake.

Edit Edit #115884634 - MusicBrainz switches out a recording to match the release to its duplicate Release “Lo mejor de la salsa cubana, Volume IX” by Various Artists - MusicBrainz.

Would be great to get that through so I can merge the releases without messing with the album recording. The compilation most likely has a wrong track listing, and merging as it stands would merge the 4:29 album recording with the 3:46 disc-id supported compilation recording.

What should be done with the recording edits below:

Does Morricone having made the tracks in Italy mean that the recording names should be Italian even though the track titles were likely given by others?

I think the names of the recordings and works should remain in their original Italian. As for the track names on the Japanese CD, they should follow what is written on the back of the CD.
