Basically, Axwell /\ Ingrosso have a visual EP for their More Than You Know EP, both available on YouTube and Apple Music – it features music videos for all 4 of its songs, each one having separate YouTube uploads. Would something like this be eligible to be added onto MusicBrainz, and if so, which format and relationships should I use?

As it is a music release it is definitely eligible for being added.
I think I would add it as type EP, as it is labelled. Medium type is “digital media”. The recordings should be separate from the audio recordings and be marked as video. They can be linked to the audio-only recordings via the “video for” relationship.

Thanks! Should I add it as a release, recording, or work, and should I include it in the audio EP’s release group?
there’s some discussion and disagreement among editors about whether video releases and audio releases should be split or not, but I personally would add a new release group (note the polls below are from a few years back)
either way tho, it would need a new release with the new recordings @outsidecontext mentioned, but you could use the same works as the audio recordings use, since it’s the same underlying song
