maybe so but keep in mind that MusicBrainz and the entire project isn’t just for giggles, there’s a serious commercial component involved here to keep the entire project alive and the last thing we need is them thinking the project exists as a means for people to find ways to illegally download music

I am curious as to their roles. Who is on silent drums? And the air guitars? Will there be silent trumpets? This could get complex to get all the credits into place.
I also pity the poor soul who has to mix all of this. I expect much of this will be phoned in… That’s a lot of sources to mix into a whole.

My dear sister isn’t always the best at distinguishing certain musicians and performers; this is someone who thought Steve Coogan’s real name was indeed Alan Partridge.
Today we found that for, god knows how long, she has thought that Bon Jovi and Bono are the same person; so from this point forward Bon Jovi is now being referred in our friends group as Bono Bovi or Bon Bono Bovi.
This came about as I was expressing my general dislike of U2, and to that effect Bono (just doesn’t vibe with me) to which she responded “I agree, although I do enjoy singing Livin’ on a Prayer”.
I just had to share, maybe some others have family members who seem to have other innocent mix-ups
