Isn’t that back to front? Surely it should be “Make Edits Voteable”?
@tigerman325’s words, not mine. The actual wording is “Make all edits votable.” Even so, it’s pretty clear what @tigerman325 meant.
Thankfully allvotes are editable. If we all had to stick with our original opinions/votes that would be bad.
Yeah. I was paraphrasing and got it backwards :-). But my point was understood I hope. I guess at first I thought all edits had to be voted on the be accepted. Not sure why.
It’s been 48 hours since I responded to someone voting against 2 edits who hasn’t gotten back to me:

Background:
The label Pioneer LDC was renamed and rebranded into “Geneon” in the year 2003. In other words, the Geneon imprint did not exist in the years 2000-2001. You can check the cover art for those releases to deduce that they are rebranded reprints.
Six hours to reply isn’t that long. They may just be on a different part of the planet to you and currently asleep. Or away from the computer enjoying the RealWorld™. Give them 24 hours at least before worrying. @CyberSkull is one of the good guys.
I get people ignoring me for a whole week. Some people just refuse to read edit notes.
In this case you NOP will override their edits so all it well.
(This forum is total rubbish at dealing with a VPN as I have had two post get stuck in “saving…” One of those was long and annoying to loose)
Where did you get “Six hours” from? As I said, it’s been 48+ hours. You can verify this by checking the timestamps.
The votes don’t extend the voting period, so if it were you, how close to the voting expiration period would you wait before reaching out for input from other editors? (Unless you would only wait 24 hours, in which case I waited double that…)
These are simple, non‐destructive edits. If they’re contested, it’s fine to have them not pass at first until the situation has been sorted out and y’all are in agreement with the proper way forward. It’s also fine to post it here to get more eyeballs on it, but do not shame editors for not replying within a couple of days. They’re volunteers, just the same as you, and we have no claim for more of their time than they feel like putting in themselves. (And this editor is already putting in a fair amount of time!)
It was never my intention to shame any editor when I posted at Voting/Auto-editor Request Thread. If anyone is under the impression that the post comes off as shaming an editor, please reach out to me so we can discuss.
That said, I also sent the editor a private message before coming here because I could see they were actively editing since the vote and message.
I’d be thankful for some opinions on a bit of a ‘unicode’ disagreement in my edits
Discussion is mostly under the recording edit: https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62618780, but it also applies to the medium edit: https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62618781
Essentially it’s a matter of deciding whether to use U+00B0 “Degree Sign” (°) or U+00BA “Masculine Ordinal Indicator” (º) or maybe even U+2116 “Numero Sign” (№).
edit: ok, looks like we’re in agreement
Nothing to vote on, just want to have more input – https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62574985
Can I get some eyes on https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62850616 and https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62850617, please? (I left them votable because this has been a controversial subject in the past.)

I overlooked the fact that track #3 and #4 are reversed in the disc version so I need to remove the disc ID first before I can edit it.
can someone check the merge i made im pretty sure it is correct https://beta.musicbrainz.org/edit/62877566
Hi, I need votes for this: https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62777774. The artist involved initially opposed the removal of membership, but this has been resolved after chatting with him (see https://musicbrainz.org/edit/62777773).
That was impressive editing silentbird.

This is part of an age-old debate that’s been held over the course of several years. I definitely need some more eyes on it.
Sorry to double-post, but I need some help with this edit. I’m not certain if this is the right call.
I need more opinions on this merge recording edit by another editor. A recording is linked to a release that has tracklist conflict with Amazon and http://www.minc.gr.jp/.

Masculine something to indicate number is not correct IMO. Better stay with most frequent mistake DEGREE in this case.
We should IMO use NUMERO character or please see the previous topic about it and the resulting proposal below.
