[mailed in] [failure] I have only gotten more sick since last week. I haven’t really been able to get out of bed or move around much. I feel awful.
On the bright side of things, I feel better than I was two days ago, so hopefully I am only gonna get better.

[mailed in] Last week I mainly finished my work on the browse tab ( with download metadata as json and add book to calibre functionality ) . Created draft PR including the changes (it will be ready for review after I add the docs ).

In the upcoming week I plan to start working on the collection tab and also get feedback on the PRs created.

[mailed in] [monkey] Last week, a bit this weekend and today I was preparing for a change in
how Spotify deals with OAuth refresh tokens.
They now expire after 6 months, forcing users to reconnect their

I also continued work on the OAuth migration and translation of the MeB.org website.
I reviewed GSOC projects PRs, and looked into putting the LB mapper v2
back online (but did not manage to finish that).
Also kept an eye on ListenBrainz infrastructure.
And finally, after Bandcamp’s announcement of subsonic API support on
Friday, I put together a proof of concept to stream your owned Bandcamp
tracks directly from the LB website. Been waiting for that for years!

[LupinIII] ok so I haven’t done much, becasueHEAT, but i’ve tagged music yesterdat and today
it will still be hot this week but the worst of summer heat is winding down-ish here so in the comming weeks i should be back on track!

Same, couldn’t do much, just one dev meeting, was a bit under the weather otherwise.

Fortunately it’s less hot now, so I’ve started looking into reviewing the Harmony PRs that have piled up.
Hopefully more about that next week.

didn’t have much MeB time last week (and won’t this week) since i’m switching jobs soon and thus have to work on offboarding related stuff
but i got a security patch in for MeB staff SSO, also upgraded the MB wiki to latest stable mediawiki release

I mostly worked on fixing the remaining test failures in [PR 3810] plus adding additional Perl tests for the new authentication modules that were added
and syncing with some breaking changes in the metabrainz.org branch
I also worked on improving the doc containing the migration steps with more specific instructions (to be continued)

[Gopal] This week, made significant progress with #3634 (caption options) and also finished all the review comments except for the one about the headphones icon.
Also handled a tricky SVG rotation edge case on #3674 and made some code cleanup . And thats it from my side.

[Nirvan Jain] not much of a productive week from project pov, got some urgent work, but raised one PR regarding the migration of listens submission feature, impl of shared notification manager and workmanager for kmp, will try to get back and fasten up the work on the project this week.

Last week was very busy on my side
I fixed multiple issues related to gateways, upgraded them to fix some security issues (mainly last SSL CVE)
I migrated nagios to icinga, finally got rid of this very old nagios instance we had
and I worked on a bunch of big PRs for Picard3: ISRC submission support, from files or CD, UI improvements, matching improvements, and now metadata box diff
plus usual supervision, system upgrades, user support

[ansh] Last week, I was mainly working on adding the email adaptor for Synapse
I continued working on implement three phase claim based work distribution system for importers and background tasks.
I attended the GSoC Alumni Meet organised in Bangalore. Had pretty interesting conversation with Stephanie and Mary from the GSoC Team.
Also met shubh and m.amanullah7 at the conference

Also did some work on improving listens fetching performance

I spent most of this week recovering from a flu. Im working on the load testing phase of the graphql server now and profiling resolvers.
and covering up some missing integration tests.

I translated the meb.org website, fixed a bunch of things that were not translatable (hopefully, PR is up), dealt with emails and the like, and watched some football
Which we won at
Which was nice
This week I need to find something else to do in the evening instead of watching football I guess : ) But I’ll be off tomorrow for the Belgian national day

This week was just applying to a few places for internships and a lot of research work, for my masters thesis, which is will get once i complete my undergrad, which i will get once i complete all these godforsaken signal processing courses.

ROAuth release schedule

The current plan is for OAuth to be rolled out on the 27th July. We will cancel the next meeting on Friday, if it’s looking likely that everything is ready. A dev meeting to discuss and review the plan (maybe Wednesday) is suggested.
