did some final fixes for YIM. and a little progress on MeB OAuth stuff.

I joined the community two weeks ago and it feels really nice to have people who do genuienly care about the project. Unlike other OS i have contributed to
SO i am working on 2 issues right now one is of Adding a Beta-site cookie to the bookbrainz website
and the other one is to add more units of measurements in the add book menu
I am understanding the codebase right now slowly

last week, like the one before, I worked more on MB pull 3130: Reimplement MBS-7241 without database-level locks
took a while to finalize the implementation, but I think it’s ready now, and should hopefully eliminate certain timeouts people get while editing
I also finished moving the JSON dumps to another server, hendrix, to reduce I/O on aretha and avoid impacting WAL receival there
over the weekend I helped set up running some tests for lucifer’s awesome work on mb-solr / sir. we should test it a bit more but so far seems to work flawlessly
other than that I worked a bit more on the edit types for the event-art-archive and did a small amount fo code review

last week, we released Picard 2.11 RC (Making sure you're not a bot!)
I also worked on listenbrainz-content-resolver patches, to add new features and speed up things
I upgraded discourse
plus usual supervision, system upgrades, user support, minor tasks, MB edits.

Since the last meeting last week, I worked mainly on MBS:
I fixed continuous integration tests and the localization of statistics pages.
I shared issues about upgrading MB Solr deps with reosarevok, lucifer, and bitmap.
Thanks to lucifer for the breakthrough in the class loader issue of MB Solr!
Tried to pass some of the previous research work about docs to rdswift.
I enabled translation reviews for Spanish with reosarevok as coordinator.
Plus the usual PR reviews, Docker support, and tickets triage.

nothing to report again unfortunately, I’ve been taking a break since new year, just getting back into work today
hope to have some bandwidth next week

Last week I’ve finally set up my LB account, WebScrobbler and the Kodi addon and started submitting fresh listens.
In order to obtain more fragments of my past listening history, I continued developing my LB API client and wrote a few more parser/importer utilities for TypeScript/Deno.
Now I only have to wait for my streaming listening history exports to be available for import, meanwhile I can deal with a few other potential data sources (which have to be reviewed).

Slow start back into it, mainly a bunch of discussions about various stuff and tickets last week. Quite a bit of stuff on socials, some wiki updates etc
Started work on various figma mockups again but nothing done yet

I have been looking at tickets and decided to squash a demand.
