[mailed in] Hi! I’m on a plane!
This week I was in Spain since my brother got married, and I mostly only dealt with email, reports and a little bit of code review.
Thanks yvanzo for running this meeting too while I fly back home; more proper work starting tomorrow or at latest on Wednesday.

[mailed in] Nothing exciting to report, the usual stuff last week.
Thank you to yvanzo for taking the time to walk me through some *&^#i% github rebasing and basics via video chat : )
Congrats to all the GSoC participants whose blog posts have popped up, and hang in there the rest of you!

[Pratha-Fish] Last week was a little more productive : )
I worked on 2 of my PRs, and also worked on setting up the actual Musicbrainz-areabot to auto-post new areas!
(Still in early phase tho)
Worked on some more tests, making sure tests actually tested what was supposed to be tested lol

[ApeKattQuest] I’ve been updating instruments and adding descriptions![]()

[monkey] Last week I mostly worked on a new ListenBrainz feature to customize our stats art (For context: ListenBrainz)
It’s been going well and was entertaining, challenging and satisfying. Still polishing it up a bit and waiting an a third-party project PR to be merged
Apart from that had some GSOC chats and reviews
and some general repo maintenance, PR review etc.

Still not much to report as I’ve been working on my research thesis.
I have only managed to setup a Wordpress account after lucifer had invited me to the MetaBrainz blog.
Congratulations to all fellow GSoCers who have already finished their projects, I’ve already enjoyed reading all of your blog posts!
Now I am even more excited to finally get back into my importer project this week : )

Last week I worked on wrapping up my project : finishing work on the Identifier type editor, adding the ability to reindex the search server and writing the blog.
Thanks to monkey and ansh for also reviewing the blog!

last week mostly worked on Picard PRs, and related new translations
plus usual supervision, upgrades, user support, MB edits.

I spent more time on updating the artist credit editor code, which was supposed to get done last week, but I ran into some bugs in the release editor
I was also testing improvements to some slow queries that were recently causing server issues, primarily when fetching recording lists for artists or instruments
and found some small improvements that can be made…though without materialized tables part of the issue is how MB implements pagination

[jasje] last week was feed’s wrap up (for gsoc) [blog post]
more’s to be done but things are looking pretty neat for now
I would like everyone to test drive the app

[arsh] Last week I finished up adding brainzplayer integration for my project
And integrating into the code base
Moreover i spent time on my blog and is up now

Last week I added code to use the new icons that aerozol made for MB collections/genres/tags.
Implemented a translation quality check for MB variables, with the help of outsidecontext, pending for deployment at the moment. [Github link]
Fixed the list UI languages in test/beta, added Hebrew to those.
And more generally worked on internationalization (Weblate and projects settings) with the help of chaban and other translators.
Also investigated incidents about MB website response time.
Plus usual support and tickets triage.
