Does anyone know when (or if!) Google would pick up an artist-recording relationship addition?
For example, https://www.google.com/search?q="Shoma+Yamamoto"+"jump+up+high"
This search just returns results from 2 sites: 萌娘百科 (moegirl.org.cn) and VGMdb. The VGMdb data was added around the same time as the MusicBrainz data.
Not sure, but I feel like MB is poorly indexed in general.
Funny thing is that I am very certain that Google is actually pulling in the database but it’s simply not indexing MB entries themselves or linking to them. So like, if you want to make an artist appear in Google search with an infobox, make sure they’re in the DB.
