Hi,
in this post i described that i want to change low res cover with higher res cover.
I Changed a few cover like i described there.
I know that the processing of newly uploaded art can take a few minutes.
Example:
I uploaded a new cover for this release 2 days ago.
It is still not available in different resolutions.
It is uploaded on archive.org https://ia801004.us.archive.org/14/items/mbid-93b92c1a-4091-473c-bd43-33ae99b0bc1e/mbid-93b92c1a-4091-473c-bd43-33ae99b0bc1e-40484914193.png
Just not processed.
Is this the intended behavior or a bug?
My hope is that it gets processed after the voting in 5 days is over.
Why opening a topic here?
I changed multiple cover and selected the lower resolution one to be deleted. As the voting for the new one and deleting the “old” one end practically at the same time (processing time for the new one), i fear that the higher resolution upload is buged and the lower resolution gets deleted and there is no usable cover as result for multiple releases.
Something seems a little hit and miss with uploads. I notice a few edits on my subscribed lists missing artwork.
Over the weekend I uploaded three albums of artwork - full sets of scanned images. All uploaded fine (via normal not beta site). But Picard refuses to see them.
Note the missing album is one where I am also doing a delete and replace action.
A previous thread on this kind of issue just noticed there seems a large delay in processing. So I don’t think it is a reason to be concerned. Just a side effect of the CAA being offline for so long. I expect they just got more art than usual uploaded this weekend.
The artwork queue increased in size by quite a bit today and I found a bad performance issue in one of the database queries which was most likely the cause of the processing delay (now fixed). There’s currently ~5,000 events in the queue, but it should start dropping now. The release you linked is already done.
