Adding a release to a release group after I've editedr the new release

I’m trying to find out how to add a release to a release group and posted earlier for help. Here’s a link to the original post:

I didn’t understand from these instructions that I was supposed to click on “add release” and then edit my release. I’ve already edited the release and thought I was supposed to add it later. Is there a way for me to do that? Or do I need to cancel it and start over?

When you add a release and don’t add it to an existing release group (RG) in the process, a new RG is created automatically.
On the page of your release click on (see all versions of this release, 1 available) underneath the title to get to your new release group.
On the right side find the “merge” button and click it.
Go to the original RG and click “merge” there too.
Now select the RG with 2 releases as the release target, enter an edit note and hit “enter edit”.
