I wanted to get some feelings from the community before sending this over to JIRA.
A lot of events are recorded on video and uploaded to YouTube; and I think it would be kind of neat if we could easily expose those links on the event pages but at the moment the Event entity page only allows you to link to an entire YT channel? Not sure why that is the case as I’ve never seen a YT channel be dedicated uniquely to just one event, it’s more often a YT channel that might comprise of videos of various live events.
What are the thoughts, is there a reason that we might not want to do this?

It could open us up to lawsuits. At least one popular artist has been filing lawsuits against fans for uploading unauthorized video footage to YouTube and other social media sites. By storing links to these videos there is potential for us to get dragged into one of these suits, for something like contributory copyright infringement.

In any case, your description makes it sound like these would more properly be recordings, that can then be added as such and linked to the event, rather than adding a link to YouTube from the event directly.

Maybe, what about if the video on YouTube is of the entire performance?
