Worldwide vs. listing all countries

Why are people going in and changing releases that are Worldwide to listing all the countries. If you have over 200 countries, I consider that Worldwide. Having a handful of excluded countries make no sense on listing every one of them out. Please explain this “logic”!

Because there are 250 current regions (“countries”), if a release isn’t in major markets, i.e. US but in 249, it’s still not Worldwide. If it’s not in say a very small country only, many won’t care. However, I look at licensing labels. Sometimes a different label or barcode might have a release in say AU/NZ or AT/CH/DE, etc. Therefore the other releases shouldn’t be listed as Worldwide if the label/barcode isn’t the same in all markets.
