Work ACUM ID

The Israeli rights society ACUM has a concept of works who have different versions.
Basically, ACUM works map to MB works and versions to a recording or arrangement.
For example: Song “ערב של שושנים” - MusicBrainz, has 185 versions in ACUM: https://nocs.acum.org.il/acumsitesearchdb/work?workid=1028517, with 16 different ISWCs.
Currently the ACUM ID used in works is the version ID because that what appears in ISWCNet. For example ISWC T-002.059.733-4 is linked in ISWCNet to ACUM IDs 1028517001, 1028517134 and 1028517115.
As far as I know, ACUM version IDs are simply the work ID + 3 digit index.
There is a possibility that one ACUM work would map to more than one MB work (e.g. classical music arrangements which I know nothing about). In this case we can maybe manually set the ACUM ID to the different version IDs.

I suggest using ACUM work ID instead of version ID.

I don’t have a real opinion since I never use work codes, so if you feel this is a better match, go for it :slight_smile: You could ping other Israeli music editors here first if you want to play it safe.

ראשון, תודה רבה שיצרת את התוסף שלך ששואב נתונים ממסד הנתונים של אקו”ם. זה מאוד מאוד שימושי.

לעניין, מסכים איתך שאצלנו מזהה אקו”ם מקורו כרגע במזהה הגרסה ויכול לחסוך לנו זמן להשתמש במזהה הגרסה. בכל זאת, אני לא בטוח אם זה נכון.

הנה מקרה בו יכול להיות חשוב מה נבחר: יצירות מתורגמות.

למשל, ב”הערב מחזמר”, מופיעים כמה שירים שמקורם במחזות זמר שהופיעו לראשונה באנגלית, אבל המופע הנידון בעברית. למשל, “לחלום” מהמחזמר איש למאנשה, אצל אקו”ם, לשירים כאלה יש מזהי יצירות שמתחילים ב־1 ומזהי גרסה שמתחילות ב־2.

נראה לי שהמספר 2 מסמן תרגומים והמספר 1 מסמן יצירות מקוריות. וכאן, מזהה הגרסה איננו סתם מזהה היצירה בעוד כמה ספרוֹת בסוף.

הגם שבממשק, אומרים:

מס׳ יצירה מתורגמת 208578

מס׳ גרסה מקורית 000145004

(על ה־1 או 2 בתחילת המזהה לא מדברים פה בכלל בממשק)

ובמידה שזה רלוונטי, אעיר גם שהצעתי את יצירתם של כמה מזהים שמקורם במסד הנתונים של אקו”ם בויקינתונים לפני שנה. זה בוצע, אבל הם עדיין לא ממש בשימוש נרחב.

The version ID here is based on the original English work: https://nocs.acum.org.il/acumsitesearchdb/work?workid=2000145

As you can see the userscript is doing the right thing and uses the Hebrew work ID as the ACUM ID.

AFAIK 1 at the beginning is for Hebrew works and 2 for other languages (called אקו"ם זר in the web interface).

Could be worth updating the wikidata grabber to use these ACUM IDs for works if it’s not doing it yet.
