Why only two results and I’m gone? 
Maybe because of this:
Direct search ignores the usual search index and searches exact matches from the database. It’s meant as a fallback, not as something someone would generally want to use as a choice. I expect for editors it only searches full words breaking on spaces and punctuation.
I often use it to find only what I want and not approaching results, for work credits inline search, for example.
