Unless I’m having a misconception a car can be used as an instrument (or rather it’s components?).
What about the Floppotron, the marble machine or more exotic stuff?

Cars and potatoes, seem to fit the MB category Generic items not to be added as instruments, though exceptional status is given to musical saw and spoons.@chaban’s exotic stuff would probably be disqualified as Novelty instruments.
