Unofficial digital concert recording

Hello,

What would be the preferred way to add metadata about unofficial concert recordings released digitally? Here’s an example: A person records a live show she’s/he’s attending to and uploads that recording to Youtube.

Reading the documentation I would think these should be tagged as Standalone Recordings.

That’s what I would do. Be sure to add the concert as an Event as well so you can link the Recording to it.
