I’d like to suggest merging the two digital media releases of Top Gun.
I looked into the editing history of the one added by @ebz777 with the “2007-09-04” release date. It is not clear to me where the UPC is from, but that UPC reveals a release date of 1989-11-17 (lookup), which is close to the 20.11.89 on the qobuz page, though from a different label.
The other digital media release has the same iTunes collectionID 38719389 and has 1989-11-17 as the release date.
This leads me to think there is actually no difference between these two releases.
You can remove the release event from the 1989 duplicate release and merge it towards the previously existing (and better release and track titled) ebz777 release.
There are quite some amount of duplicate releases created with importers.
Dates on Digital Media should be when they were made available on that platform. Some of the Digital import tools incorrectly add the “original release dates”.
That 1989 one is made more comical by having a 1999 copyright date in the annotation. If you look at the release of the RG that will be the date of the Expanded edition on physical media.
The 2007 date seems as good as any other. We certainly know it wasn’t 1999
A good poke into the initial Edit History often reveals a lot.
