Hmm, looks like CAA is down again this morning.
expect it to be up and down
CAA is back up in Ready Only mode, no changes possible yet
Any updates or ETAs on when submissions will be available to the CAA?
I believe we’re still waiting on the Internet Archive to get back on its feet

Looks like it’s back - I just uploaded a few covers.
Maybe that’s why I’m seeing a delay again. I entered images on a release yesterday that still haven’t been processed into CAA.
I looked into this, and it seems there are issues after merging releases. To get technical, the S3 requests we use to copy images between buckets (the old release to the new release) are all failing with “500 Internal Server Error” and no further info. I’ve contacted the Internet Archive already.
Good to know, thanks.
Do you know if there’s been any progress on this? I don’t see anything regarding this on their blog. I’m sure this doesn’t rise to the severity of the DDoS recovery, so I don’t really expect that, but I am curious.
Unfortunately I only got a standard form reply from info@
HiMichael,
Thanks for contacting us.
As you may know Internet Archive was attacked and is currently restoring services as soon as possible. Many are back online although some may intermittently may fail.
It likely will be days or weeks until all services and features are returned. And, some older features may be deprecated and not return.
We suggest you periodically check the site to see if your issues are resolved and are now working on the site.

There is no need to reply to this message. We just wanted to let you know we have received your email and are aware of the issues.
We appreciate your patience. Thanks for being a patron of archive.org
Best,
Internet Archive Team
So nothing we didn’t already know. I didn’t get a reply from my other contact either, so I assume they’re just very busy.
Thanks for checking.
