Some new developments in String Theory (on latest)
I am very happy with new Credit Hoarder feature that matches by alias and adds an option to create them on the fly. For foreign releases its a must:
Screenshot shows new matching badge (alias, alias+url) and if credited text is different from MB name, it shows button +alias on the left to add it (lclick front, rclick back)
FC is much better now: Amazon Music, configurable UI per platform, and archiving the link and the screenshot of page on IA

With this release I think almost full parity with Harmony features is achieved - Platform Check now has option to add missing links for artists and labels based on added external links. As far as I see, the only thing missing is release script & language detection (not sure if language detection is only informational).

Note to Falcon users: script name had wrong suffix which I deleted in the last version. This means that script manager will see it as a new script. You should remove previous version before installing a new one. This is currently on latest.
I was working on new member of String Theory, named Mission Control (MC), for several days It took more then 100 commits to refine it; in the process I changed architecture on many scripts so they can work as “headless services” (SOA) so that MC can drive them from central location without opening tabs. Since there are many steps now that must be done in specific order if one wants to add every possible info on a release, it is quite easy to forget something. Mission control is about that, its like Harmony on a Release Actions. In the process I redesigned many icons so they look good on MC dashboard, black/white theme, also all launchers. This is still on latest, feel free to experiment and propose ideas.

Amazing…, I’m learning everyday something new from you/C and your git issues/history and try to feed it in my userscript (new version about to be released soon) .. thx @majkinetor you ROCK
@vzell, thank you, it means so much coming from someone like you. BTW, if you need any general consultation, I hang out in Discord MB channel or you can email me.
Falcon and First Contact are added to String Theory. I initially kept them separate to keep loaded JS small on platform sites and Harmony, but this is micro optimization (it takes few ms to parse it) and I don’t want people installing 3 scripts instead of 1.
You should remove standalone versions if you use ST. Currently on latest
MC now does consolidation. Please try it on latest and give notes if you have them
It is triggered by First Contact from whatever platform it supports (2nd button)
Once it does, the show starts:
Mission Control then triggers Platform Check to find other platforms, then triggers First Contact for each found platform to get all the data. It checks MB for relases containg found links and reports that, while consolidating all the data. Once you are happy with selections, Enter edit, which goes to Apollo, which finds everything possible, which after saving release triggers Mission Control back to fill up any remaining details like track/artist/label links which triggers Falcon and Art Station, and release group merges which triggers Fusion and Credit Hoarder for the info.
End effect is that you have Harmony/MET within MusicBrainz itself, with much more features and customizable consolidation and certainly more things to come.
There is also a nice Markdown export:

Site updated: String Theory
Very large new release: 2026.10.11
Besides that, Enhanced Cover Art Upload is removed as dependency (on latest). ST now uses its own image maximizer which feels like 10x faster. It can be used by other projects, see ImgMax.
ST now doesn’t depend on any other userscript.
Work matching now supports madleys on latest. I know @vzell and @Tiske_Tisja will probably be very happy about this:
Sweeeeeeeet
thank you
Added FAQ on site. @IvanDobsky once said here that he is confused by my scripts. I hope this clears it up. If anybody thinks there is anything else that should be clarified, please tell me.
