I created a new release for a missing album I have ripped. I used beets to upload fingerprints to AcoustID/MB but is there a way to update track’s length automatically?
If not, is the following way gives reliable durations?
Using beets:
beet list -f ‘$album $title $length’ ‘Un Monde Merveilleux’
Un Monde Merveilleux L’air Du Vent 4:11
Un Monde Merveilleux Meddley 2:28
Un Monde Merveilleux Partir Là-bas 3:15
Un Monde Merveilleux Le Cycle de la Vie 3:25
Un Monde Merveilleux Ce Rêve Bleu 4:08
Un Monde Merveilleux Un Jour Mon Prince Viendra 2:26
Un Monde Merveilleux La Belle Et la Bête 3:58
Un Monde Merveilleux Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo 1:34
Un Monde Merveilleux Quand On Prie la Bonne étoile 3:19
Un Monde Merveilleux Le Monde de Disney 2:12
Un Monde Merveilleux Can You Feel The Love Tonight 3:49
Thanks!

I do that with the help of @jesus2099 “TimeParser” Tampermonkey script.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure, which of his scripts contains this part.
I assume it could be “mb. SUPER MIND CONTROL Ⅱ X TURBO”.

Awesome, thanks! I’ll look into it!
EDIT: Do you have a repo link for me?
You get an additional button called “Time parser” where you can copy & paste your above text output.
It should be parsed and add the missing time values to all the matching tracks.

If you use it this button for already existing time values, you only see them if they differ from the actual values .-) Don’t be confused, if you try it on your own album (again).

This is definitely him - not only for his fancy script titles

I love his printscreens too.
Or his award winning comments:
An independent jury of worldwide famous celebrities discerned this script the
OMFG GOLDEN WORLD CHOMPIONSHIP BLACK BELT AWARD 2011 .

If you have an EAC log from when the tracks were ripped this this is always useful

And don’t forget that Picard can also link the physical CD to the release if you still own the disc.

Yes I read about the Disc ID, but most of my CDs are now in a box somewhere… I might add the ids later but no ETA.
