While adding album art to a few singles for rock act Djo, I saw that some of his singles were included as a part of an album’s release group.
Is that protocol? The style guide doesn’t mention including singles into an album’s release group, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve just had singles as their own release group.
There is no evidence in the edit history that this was ever the case.
If you’re referring to Relationship Type / Single from - MusicBrainz then yes, that is “protocol”.
There are no singles in that release group. What you are seeing are links to the different singles release group via relationships. RG to RG, (associated singles/EPs:)
