2019 version of Backstreet Boys I want it that way (titled I Want It That Way (Reimagined)) has different composers than the original recording.
Should I create a new work for this reimagined version?
This is where I got information.
The ASCAP entry shows only one listing, with the “Reimagined” version as an alternate title, and doesn’t list Gary Baker as a composer. This article quotes Baker about producing the single, but doesn’t give any indication he re-wrote anything. Perhaps Pandora just mis-labeled a Producer credit as Composer.
