Can I get some eyes on https://musicbrainz.org/label/0d264610-1a80-436a-a8db-e9b87432d6a1/open_edits .

Content creator unhappy their material is on MusicBrainz, trying what they can to remove it.
Could I get some votes on Open Edits for Violinkonzer D-Dur op. 61 / Frühlingssonate F-Dur op. 24 - MusicBrainz ? A user created a single-medium release for a box set. Just trying to get it cleaned up enough for them to add the other discs with minimal confusion.
would like to request some votes to overall fix a release, thanks in advance

I created a series of recording artist relationships, then realized I had chosen the wrong orchestra.
May I have some votes and/or approvals on these edits? To be followed by fixing the Recording Artists on the release.
EDIT: Thanks, @IvanDobsky !
When is a playlist an album? Two YouTube playlists have been added claiming to be “albums”. Or “reimagining”. They are just made up of tracks from various Pink Floyd and Roger Waters albums.
At the very least they are fan made compilations, but are they just playlists that need removing? (Personally I think it is the latter, but not enough experience of what is and is not allowed from YouTube) Release “The Wall Extended, Version 2” by Pink Floyd - MusicBrainz and Release “Dark Side of the Moon [RESTORED]” by Pink Floyd - MusicBrainz
I don’t think those are releases. On the description it says “An extended version of The Wall I made using songs from The Final Cut, The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, Radio K.A.O.S., Amused to Death, and the demos”. Looks to me just to be a homemade playlist.
This is what I thought, but I get confused with YouTube guidelines. I’ll stick in a “remove” for these two. (maybe someone needs to check other “releases” added by this editor)
Playlist Remove edits: Edit #148523334 - MusicBrainz and Edit #148523338 - MusicBrainz
So the playlist uploader made new recordings? Why shouldn’t those get an MBID? I think these are fine as (bootleg?) releases
Artist trying to erase several releases including tons of relationships, ISRCs, etc.
Is there a way to do a more mass-vote type of action for cases like this? I know a tool like that could be wrongfully used, but a user like me doesn’t have the time and patience to vote on every single one of those >600 removals
but I’d still like to participate/help.

New edits from an unreliable editor. I have voted on some (e.g. Edit #148824529 - MusicBrainz), but don’t have the expertise for others.
Could I have some opinions and votes on
please. This is a case of a classical work being hijacked by being labelled with a “part of” relationship to a soundtrack. (Itself with very poorly documented existence of any actual release). @jesus2099 disagrees with my deletion but what is your opinion?
MBs handling of soundtracks is something I have never properly grasped. To me a soundtrack is a recording or set of recordings. If it is to have an existence as its own entity, it seems to me more akin to a “release” and calling one a “work” is surely a category error?
It’s not really a deletion, you are changing @UltimateRiff’s:
Into:
ヘタリア OST is a medley of Chopin Nocturne 4 (in 2 edits instead of 1)
The former felt slightly less incorrect to me. ![]()
Update 2026-07-07
So, the answer was Chopin Nocturne 4 is included in ヘタリア OST.
Thanks @alfar. ![]()

Indeed thanks to @alfar for the information on the correct relationship to use in this case. Hopefully this can please both classical music and soundtrack afficionados.
I have imported this from bandcamp shortly after it released, but later the label added a 13th track on the bc page. Good that it did, because it was the first single for this album, but it also broke my edit. I’ve entered a correction, speedup votes would be appreciated!
As @IvanDobsky pointed out in the edit notes, I was doing it wrong (thanks!). I’ve now added a new release with the new tracklist and changed the old one to withdrawn. No rush with that, so votes aren’t necessary, but here it is just be sure: Open Edits for FINAL: Opus Magnum 3 - MusicBrainz
@krefson1 @jesus2099 honestly I don’t even remember doing that edit, but I’m happy to see it getting updated with the new relationship~
I need some eyeballs/reinforcements on a pair of edits. This is yet another case of someone thinking the CAA is the place to showcase the best possible cover art for a release rather than reflect its actual appearance (what the documentation actually says to do).
