Request for guidance on mass import: 55,000+ tracks from Uzbekistan (RizaNova & NevoMusic)

Dear MusicBrainz Team/Community,

I am writing to seek guidance on the best way to contribute a large dataset of Uzbek music to the MusicBrainz database. I have access to comprehensive metadata for over 55,000 tracks and 3,000+ artists from the two largest music labels in Uzbekistan: RizaNova and NevoMusic.

Currently, Uzbek contemporary music is underrepresented in the database, and my goal is to provide accurate, high-quality metadata, including:

  • Artist names and aliases (Latin/Cyrillic).

  • ISRC codes and Barcodes (where available).

  • Release dates and official YouTube/Media links.

My Questions:

  1. Since this is a massive volume of data, what is the preferred method for mass importing without overwhelming the edit system?

  2. Should I apply for a Bot Account to automate the process, or is there a specific import script/tool you recommend for label-scale datasets?

  3. Are there specific editors or mentors within the community who specialize in Central Asian music that I should consult with?

I have the data ready in structured formats (JSON/CSV) and I am capable of writing Python scripts (using python-musicbrainzngs) to interact with the API, but I want to ensure I follow all community guidelines and rate limits.

Looking forward to your professional advice.

Hello there
There is also the Style question.
What do you mean by tracks?
What will you insert in MB?
Standalone recordings and works, only?
Or full releases?
