Release-level credits for Albums with multiple editions

So, a problem came up with https://musicbrainz.org/release/f20072f3-5996-4b76-a9f7-b4514422018d where I tried to move the relationship credits to the release level (which was met with an error of unknown type), and an editor from one of the digital re-releases was opposed to the move since it would take the credits away from all of the versions (and if the edit had succeeded, kept it on only one release).

User script error aside (and we can discuss that as well, as a continuation of Requests for Votes Thread - #1794 by Pianca82), what can be done to represent fundamental credits across all editions of one release group, while also allowing for credits specific to certain releases to be entered individually as the pages may call for? As it is now, you have releases like, for example, Release “야수 original sound track” by 川井憲次 - MusicBrainz | Release “美しき野獣 オリジナル・サウンドトラック” by 川井憲次 - MusicBrainz under the same release group where the credits are the same, but they have to be entered individually per page (which also inflates relationship page data for artists).

If there is (having core credits be for the release group or something), then it will eliminate the need some editors feel to add release-level relationships to recordings just to have them appear on all the releases. Or is there a ticket already in place for such a feature?
