The set wat recorded during a festival. The festival lasted 3 days but the recording is from only one of the days. I now added the festival (3 days) and the place (1 day, but without the festival name) as relations.
Is that the right way?
Often we would have separate entries for each day of a festival and possibly even each concert inside each day, so this could be linked more precisely (and then you could drop the place relationship since it would be redundant).

That makes sense. I changed the event into “day 3” with only one date. I don’t have any of the other recordings so have nothing to add to day 1 and day 2 but when I do, I will add those events as well
if you want some good examples of event hierarchies, here you go~ that said, I’ve also split each day into individual sets (at least for the artists I was editing at the time on day 4 of Cornerstone), but that’s not super typical
