The quote block background colour is almost the same as the white backgronud.
Example, I can’t really distinguish quote blocks because they look the same, except that left border which is also very dim.
Could it be darker background ?

This is really variable depending on the monitor you’re using. I just checked quick on my monitors at work, and on one the block quote background is clearly visible, and on the other (a much cheaper screen), it’s almost invisible.
I don’t know what sort of style stuff we can change on discourse, but this would probably be something useful to improve.
Until/unless we do a larger overhaul of our Discourse instance’s styling (which I would like to see), I’d rather not mess too much with Discourse’s defaults, but rather encourage people to utilise userstyles and similar.
