i want to find the original release date of 1988
I know I can search specifically for live recordings or compilation albums but not specifically for NOT live or compilation. is that possible?
You can use ‘AND NOT’ as an operator.
I would have thought that the query below would work, but it doesn’t appear to be applying ‘year:1988’ correctly:
artist:“metallica” AND date:1988 AND NOT secondarytype:Live AND NOT secondarytype:Compilation
Ah, it’s ‘date,’ not ‘year.’
