Would it be possible to prefill “Work” with the value of “Recording” in the “Add Relationship” window for “Related type=Work”. Most of the time these are the same. After prefilling it, it could be marked in case the work is different from recording so that by pressing DEL or start typing you can enter some new value.

Yes and now publisher for labels to work is no longer pre-selected either.
And phonographic copyright is no longer pre-selected for label to recording, either.
