Could someone please help me craft an indexed search query. What I wish to achieve is to find all recordings of a) Beethoven b) piano sonatas c) by a particular artist - say “Vladimir Ashkenazy”. My best efforts so far allow me to pick any two of the three requirements, but never all three. The recording table has no access to the composer, as that is an attribute of the work. Similarly the work table has no access to the performing artist. And in any case, usually the recordings are attributes of parts of the work rather than the full work.
Other search engines I am familiar with allow saving searches and performing intersections and unions between them, which would achieve my three criteria search. Can I do this with Musicbrainz?
