This has started happening recently. Randomly my playthrough will stop playing after a song. Pressing the play button at that point does nothing, neither does pressing the play button on any other buttons on the playlist.
I’m on Firefox 144 on Ubuntu 22
There’s been some bugs in the new brainzplayer that has been ironed out the past few days (It didn’t even show itself playing on Librewolf…). I can’t guarantee that specific issue is fixed.
You may want to send a message in the Listenbrainz Discord/Matrix/IRC channel so that it get seen directly and maybe get to test it directly on your machine to make sure it’s fixed

As RustyNova said, I recently broke the ListenBrainz player by trying to fix it (a classic developer move).
I am working on a fix, but making sure to test it more thoroughly this time around…

This is still happening btw and it’s super frustrating. However I’m pretty sure I think I know why. I have only connected spotify as a player and what I think it’s happening is that when my list has a track that it cannot find on spotify, it crashes. If I reload the page and play the song it stopped at, I get a warning that it cannot be found, and then skips to the next one. But sometimes when it encounters this while playing, it will irrevocably crash the player and requires a page reload.
I have encountered it as well but using Navidrome. Not quite sure if it’s the same crash but it sometimes happens.
Although it’s not the most pressing issue I got with brainzplayer
For me it happens after around 10-15 soungs every time, making it barely usable unfortunately.
