Picard 2.9 will not add files

Hi - Picard stopped working properly the other day for me. Turns out that the Microsoft Store had updated me to v2.9 silently, which is cool in itself…

Neither drag and drop not add files/folder resulted in files appearing in Picard. I checked the log and by each entry was the error: util.open_:98: Error occurred

I’ve uninstalled and rolled back to the x64 version of 2.8.5 from the ftp server and that’s working fine. Any ideas what might be happening?

we already had report about 2.9 and file loading. Can you provide the full debug log?

Yep, right in the middle of doing something - when it’s done, I’ll re-upgrade and send the file. Thanks.

You might also want to try both the Microsoft App Store version of 2.9 and the download/manual install version just in case it is an issue only with the App Store version.
