Reviews
outsidecontext:
[mailed in but not read at the meeting] looks like I won’t be available for the meeting today. But also not much news, still busy with my day job. Managed to do some code review and ticket stuff. This week also for mutagen, where there was a fix for embedded image order in ID3 tags, which is interesting for Picard. Also fixed my picard-daily builds.
derat:
[mailed in] My first PR for MBS-13980 went in, so I shared a doc with proposed strings for the second part to update the remaining pages.
[MBS-13980: Add more doc bubbles to user-facing forms ]
I also spent some time improving podcast support in yambs. yambs.erat.org now supports fetching arbitrary RSS feed URLs, and I added support for overriding things like artist names in the likely event that the feed doesn’t follow the style guidelines.
ApeKattQuest_MonkeyPython:
[Jigen] Last 2 weeks I̵ ̵h̵a̵d̵ ̵v̵a̵c̵a̵t̵i̵o̵n̵ ̵a̵n̵d̵ also I have not have vacation because I had to tidy out the entry staircase and cupboard and junk because of firehazard warning
but anyway I finished work on the Author part of the toc, have started on Work
you can also still help suggest examples [forum thread ]
I’ve started sp2 part of Spanish! whoooo
other than that I’m working hard on invisible stuff, watch this space for oncoming great things!
since monkey is afk because of crazy things in spain I can tell you he has done good work on his side of the bookbrainz thing as well as much on listenbrainz
JadedBlueEyes:
[jade] A fairly busy last couple of weeks for me
I’ve created a fairly basic prototype of the message archiver, for now it just creates a HTML output of the most recent ~100 messages in a room
You can see an example output here: [link ]
(You can see jump-to-message working in that, just added today)
I’ve also created and made the first release of Continuwuity , a community-driven Matrix homeserver, after the original homeserver I was using got archived due to maintainer burnout
I’ve got a great team with me to work on that
And, of course, all of the revising for exams and admin stuff going on in the background. Not too long until exam season starts
julian45:
recently i’ve been working with bitmap to test out one of our SSO tool options; unfortunately, as he can attest to, it didn’t go well with our first tool : (
BUT!
i have more promising work in progress that is already looking good with a test user.
just need to tie down some slightly bloated out of box configs on the second tool.
kellnerd:
During the last two weeks, I’ve finished and released the Harmony settings page.
Now there is also an option to include the full list of available/excluded regions in the seeded release annotation.
Since there were many questions about accessing the Release Actions page for existing releases, I’ve finally added an MBID input to that page (and the home page).
And inputs in dark mode are no longer flashing white… long overdue, but any CSS change to these resets their whole browser default appearance and forced me to define my own styles, which I finally did.
absent: ansh (1), gautam_coder (1), monkey (power cut)

I had to take some time to research this and don’t believe there is an issue, rumors are spread by all sides. That said, we are dealing with the mad hatter, so anything goes. The tariff on the fornicating penguins is really a tariff on anything that “passes through” the island, it closes a (supposed) loophole that could allow items to evade his Highness’s tariff hammer.
