I again looked into a few small tickets and a lot of reports, plus further improvements to our PR to lowercase everything
I also had a date night with aerozol looking into some guidelines that are now out, including the broadcast guideline that was in the pipeline for months
(so I bet it will take him around a week to find something else I must do : p )

Still nothing to report unfortunately…

[mayhem] not much to report, except for a stunning indian wedding and trying to get spotify and amazon to pay us.
some background tasks, but almost no work in the past week. now catching up, but I have a serious case of jetlag.
arrived back in BCN this morning at daybreak after leaving abu dhabi at 3am.

Bit of the usual last week, was really happy to finally sign off the broadcast guideline update, thanks for the help reo
I finally took a breather and spent the time to make a nice picture and layout for something, the LB homepage: LB-1127
And more YIM mockup fixes, fixing the wrong mobile size, spotted by jasje
This week I’ll polish up that LB homepage
After that I’m going to tackle the refresh of some of the LB app pages, let me know if you need something else ASAP

[ansh] Last week, I mostly worked on BrainzPlayer queues.
The feature is shaping out quite well.
The queues are now working. I’ve added the option to add to sync queues across different tabs, repeat queues, as well as saving the tracks of the queues as playlists.
Other than that, I worked on some tickets.

last week, I got flobot’s hdd replaced, and the other also shows sign of age, I’ll get it replaced too
I did some cleanup in syswiki new server installation document, and worked with atj to write down instructions for setting up zfs on new servers
plus usual PR reviews, user support, supervision, minor fixes, MB edits. fin.

last week I deployed beta & submitted a patch to hopefully help with strings wrapping in POT files
updated [MusicBrainz pull 3097] with proper cache invalidation and deployed that to production and beta
was off for thanksgiving, but later in the week I was updating the version of library we use for react state (that I need in another branch)

I was reviewing some interesting PRs
Got some help from jasje on the scrobbling fix. Looking good and we should release the beta this week
theflash_ has fixed the feed and the app looks really great now. I am already using it on my iPhone
We are just fixing up the UX for first time users. Once that is done, we should do a beta release of the ios app also!
That being said, iOS will take time to have our original UI as that is on android
But great news anyway, we’re going great!!

I reviewed some more pull requests, and updated the pull request about account/admin pages.
Released a new version of MusicBrainz Server (today) and minor changes to MetaBrainz website.
Did some multilingual experiments in community forums with category names and language tags.
Last, I drafted the two MB coding project ideas that we threw out during the summit.

[monkey] I took advantage of a quiet week to spend it all wrestling with the LB test suite, but this time I came out victorious!
Rewriting tests to the new test suite continues creeping onwards, but also after months of an annoying randomly unstable test file I managed to track down the issue and applied the very simple fix required. What a relief!
On the BookBrainz side I did the usual repo management and issue massaging.

last week, I worked on fixing a couple of longstanding LB development bugs.
other than that worked on diagnosing the uWSGI error fix. deployed it for CB earlier today and it works like a charm.
the error is gone and we have graceful reloads (the initial fix didn’t support this) as well.

[pratha-fish] Laptop’s still under motherboard replacement therapy
So I was forced to take a vvacation ![]()
I tried fixing a little HTML error in LIstenBrainz
Took me 4 hours and it’s still not solved xD
Will get it done when I have a PC ig. Coding on a phone just doesn’t hit right.

[quote = “jasjeet”]
[jasje] last week was all working on listening to scrobble service
and we’ve done some initial changes and prepared beta 1 to be tested as akshaaatt said
looking forward to that
listening now submission should be consistent
but to be tested
apart from that
exams exams exams
so I’ve been busy with those
