(New) Medium/Format for Toniebox figurines ("tonies")?

Hi, which medium and format should be used for “tonies”, the figurines used in conjunction with the kids media player Toniebox?

Technically speaking tonies are plastic figurines that contain an RFID tag (example). The media player (the Toniebox) reads this tag, downloads a (non DRM’d) set of audio files (the tracks of the album) from the Toniebox server, and finally plays them.

The best Musicbrainz representation I’ve found is “digital media”/“download card”. Would that be OK?

Or maybe we could add a new format that better represent the physicality of the support? (Although the figurine/RFID tag only identifies the audio and does not carry the bits themselves.)

Digital, obviously, as songs are in the cloud, and tonie is just a gimmick that doesn’t contain that media.

Or maybe we could add a new format that better represent the physicality of the support?

I think musical box deserves it more, as it at least contains the music it plays

But if the figures aren’t a medium, perhaps we could do with a new type of cover art: “gimmick / Tonie figurine”

A similar thing called “KiT albums” (also stored in the cloud) was added as a medium type
