New here… and expected to NOT find an entry for Focus 12 by Focus the famous Dutch Prog group, but it is there albeit without album art which I have just uploaded.
The problem is that I ripped the CD on Naim’s Core months ago, and again tonight to see if the tracks looked up, but they still don’t.
I can’t see any errors in the barcode entry data or anything that is written on the Digipack, so I am at a loss as to why Naim can’t look it up.
I don’t know Naim’s Core, but the release Focus 12 does not yet have a disc ID attached to it. To identify a CD in the drive CD rippers usually use a disc ID, which gets calculated from the track positions and lengths.
In order for a disc ID to be available on MB it has to be submitted first, which requires the CD to be available (and a CD drive). For Focus 12 no one has done this yet. The easiest way to do this is probably using Picard. See the following documentation:
https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/How_to_Add_Disc_IDs
https://picard-docs.musicbrainz.org/en/usage/attach_disc_id.html
Should you not have a separate CD drive on your computer but only the Naim things might be more problematic. Sometimes CD rippers can write log files that contain the necessary information from the CD TOC. Does the Naim Core write any such logs?
Tip: If you are discussing a specific release here on the forums it is always helpful to post a link to the release on MB, such as

Ok, thanks, well this is completely new to me and I only rip using my Naim Core so can’t access the data that’s obviously needed.
