Music discovered by editing

Let’s have a thread to share music you discover while editing. What I mean here are those random discoveries you stumble across quite unexpectedly.

E.g., to kick this off, while editing latin percussionist Manny Oquendo, I stumbled upon his namesake Manuel Oquendo, and while trying to figure out a reasonable disambiguation comment (not sure I succeeded) ended up at this neat 2000 hip hop album Release “Tragic Epilogue” by Antipop Consortium - MusicBrainz

I’ve found several interesting things while editing Tom Lehrer’s material, but the most memorable is Nacha Guevara, who translated some of his works into Spanish. The most surprising was New Math, performed with (I think her) children.

there’s so much music I’ve discovered through editing, but a fairly recent one is Biddy Fox (I believe through their alias, fluttershy will never die)

this was almost 2 years ago at this point, and I was adding more details to a Brony artist (still working on that project to this day), and on their Bandcamp page, ITS 2022 AND YOURE STILL ALONE GIRL caught my eye (mostly the name). it was (and still is) a free album, so I figured “hey, I’ll give it a shot”, and I’ve been hooked ever since~
