I have a digital release that has two “discs”. On Spotify, it is listed as two discs, with their tracklists displayed separately. On iTunes, there is no such separation but the track numbers are reset. In this case, do I make a release with two digital media mediums or should I put tracks of both “discs” into one medium?
If it has two discs, you can create two digital media release, and if it has only one with more tracks on another source, then that’s another release.
I think @silentbird means one release with two or more mediums, like this one:
In cases like these, I think it’s fine to add multiple Digital Media mediums to one release, if only for continuity purposes.
