When a virtual duet is performed during a live event, should the virtual artist be linked as a guest artist?
For example, in Log in - MusicBrainz, Lulu was singing along to recorded performances by David Bowie, Maurice Gibb and Tina Turner. Should they be linked as guests?
It seems that for recordings the consensus is to link the “virtual” artist as a regular one, e.g. Log in - MusicBrainz.
