Is the link type “work list entry” appropriate to link a work to an online catalogue of composer’s works (such as BWV for Bach or HWV for Handel), or is this link type intended for other purposes?
I believe that linking a work to an online catalogue could be useful for complex works such as operas and oratorios to provide a reference why work is divided on parts in a particular way. A catalogue provides kind of canonical division on parts, at least for most XVIII-century operas where composers clearly separated “numbers” in scores.
