Issue with Chicago 18 CD

I have this Release of the Chicago 18 CD, https://musicbrainz.org/release/90f29125-efd3-4b09-93c0-02d3d23b884e. I know it is this release because my CD and jewel box do not have a barcode and are labeled W2-25509. The problem is that in the MB database, this CD only has 10 songs. The CD itself appears to only have 10 songs too. However, there is a 25s track that is mentioned in the liner notes on the CD. It is actually there, it is just not listed in the songs printed on the back of the Jewel case nor the printing on the CD.

The TOC lists 11 songs so I cannot attach the disc Id for the CD I have to the above MB Release, even though it is the proper release.

How do I fix https://musicbrainz.org/release/90f29125-efd3-4b09-93c0-02d3d23b884e to contain 11 songs so that I can link the disc Id for my CD to that release?

Thanks,
Paul

I suppose another way to fix it would be to add “W2-25509” as another catalog number to this release, https://musicbrainz.org/release/6ed6fa57-9530-4d70-bebf-bc543e89e4ce. This release has 11 songs and no barcode but does not contain the appropriate catalog number.

Please paste links instead of just MBID.
I wouldn’t make the effort to read English topic without a little help.

Sorry, I went back and edited my posts to change them to full links.

Or create your own release with your disc ID and details.
If you can, add the packaging scans.

Often you would make a new release, but in this case if your release is exactly the same (e.g. same text, (c), logos etc, on the disc and the back as well), I would possibly remove the Disc ID and then update it to match your release.

This is because looking through the edit history for this release, it’s very messy, and the Disc ID seems to have been added from a stub, not a in-hand disc (Disc ID addition edit).

We can ask @holesovice here or on the edit if they can confirm the Disc ID - if it can’t be confirmed I think it’s fine for you to ‘reset’ the release to what you have in-hand.

In case it helps, here is the purely release level edit history for Chicago 18 (W2-25509).

PS. I didn’t build this link manually, I have a userscript.

I forgot to mention that if the matrix number on your cd is ‘1 25509-2 SRC-03 M2-S4’ then you can add the extra track with confidence - then Discogs certainly has it wrong

The Chicago 18 CD that I have in hand does not look like the one pictured in the link posted by jesus2099 above. Where that CD has “7599-25509-2”, mine has:
“W2-25509”
“DIDY 1008”
“Made in U.S.A”

On the Hub of the CD it has “DIDX 1008 81A4” etched along with “Made in USA Digital Audio Disc Corp.”

This is a different CD. I suppose I should just make a new release for it.
