Is there a way to view unlisted Spotify releases?

Example: We Came As Romans’ Spotify page doesn’t show this single, but it’s still on Spotify and accessible via a google search. Is there a way to view all releases under a certain artist’s page on Spotify?

I tried SAMBL but it didn’t list anything not under the artist’s page on Spotify.

Okay I’ve found at least a decent option, Rate Your Music seems to have a lot, if not all singles, which then can be googled to find the spotify link (most singles don’t seem to be linked on RYM).

Just paste in the artist URL as the playlist and you will see all Spotify releases and you can check them all there.

I tried using that for We Came As Romans, but the Wasted Age single doesn’t show up.

That’s because that release is no longer available. Even though you can still view the page. Spotify never deletes their pages even when the labels pull the release.

This shows that it is no longer available anywhere. The reason you can still play it is because when a release is removed Spotify it will forward the track to a release that shares the same ISRC if one is available. If all releases that contain the recording are removed is really the only time that you can’t stream a track.

This is why the release will not show up in searches as well. If you search for this track, only the song comes up and says it’s only available on the album.

It won’t show up on SAMBL artist pages since it gets Spotify won’t return it as an artist’s album once it gets deindexed. Harmony should still be able to pull its data, however.

If you put it in the find page it should be able to grab the barcode still, but I need to update it to pull the album before looking up the barcode, that way it still appears as a result.

So (asides from RYM), there’s no easy way to pull all albums from a certain artist, including deindexed ones?

There is a tedious way. You can go to archives.org, and put in the artist Spotify URL and then look through and see some releases through the history that no longer show. I do that trying to find old releases. Other than that just using Google or similar you can just type in a search there and get old releases sometimes. But yeah, I think RYM & Discogs are you only hope if the releases aren’t on Musicbrainz yet, outside of archives.org.

Googling site:open.spotify.com/album "[title]" "by [artist]" is how I usually do it.
