The same problem started probably 3-4 says ago. Writing from a phone with mobile internet. My neighbor with the same provider has no problem connecting.

Although I’ve tried accessing mb with opera built in VPN, and it opens up fine.
and 15m later i’ve successfully logged in without even rebooting router

I think I figured out why I got blocked. It seems the Web Scrobbler extension is the culprit.
Aha, I do have that extension installed.
I hope it gets figured out because I use youtube to listen to music mostly and use web scrobbler to scrobble to last.fm and I hope I stop getting IP banned accidently as I only scrobble music with the scrobbler
OAuth to Picard also not working
beta.musicbrainz.org loads without an issue! try it guys!
update: beta also stopped loading with ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED 
If you are blocked, send an email to support@metabrainz.org with your public IPs (IPv4 & IPv6) so we can check and eventually unblock.
We are currently trying to keep bad bots at bay (responsible for degraded response times, or worse, since few months), but unfortunately we also block legit users sometimes.
