Is it possible to subscribe to all underlying release groups and releases within a release group series?

For example, if I subscribe to this series, I only see and receive notifications on edits made to the series entity itself: i.e. adding/removing release groups from it, modifying the series name, etc.

If someone edits any of the release groups within that series, e.g. creating a new release, modifying recording names, modifying artist credits, etc, then I won’t be able to find them easily.

Most of the release groups in that series are under the Various Artists profile, which I definitely do not want to subscribe to as a workaround, since that would nuke my emails.

The only workaround I’ve been able to find is to individually add all the release groups to a collection, and then view edits on the collection. However the issue I’m having with that, is:

  1. the “Refine this search” option is not available on the collection edit page (which takes ages to load). So I can’t filter to narrow down to specific types/ranges of edits that I want to see, e.g. open edits only; non-auto-edits; edits within the last 7 days; etc.
  2. If an entity is added/removed from the series, I’d have to notice, and then manually add/remove it to my collection.
  3. I don’t believe there’s a way to get email notifications for edits on releases in a collection. Which is what I’d ideally like.

Does anyone know an easy way to achieve what I’m trying to do? I’ve tried searching and couldn’t find anything, but could just be skill issue.

Have you subscribed to the collection? Then you will be notified by email:

Yes there is, I’m only subscribed to my owned records (release collection).
