Incorrectly downvoted open edit

Hello,

Thought I should post here as the voting window is closing.

The above edits for this digital release are to replace the current vinyl cover art with the label-provided digital cover art. This specific style of art is consistent with all digital releases from Paradox’s labels.

Unfortunately @chaban insists that this edit is incorrect, and merely references the current art in one online store, Boomkat, to justify keeping the current edit. He has not responded to my edit notes containing further proof, or withdrawn his no vote.

The edit notes under ‘good proof’ clearly state official sites for the artist/label take precedence over online stores. And despite this, out of every streaming service and online store, Boomkat is the only store to not have the correct digital art.

Furthermore, the official style guidelines on cover art state, “The cover art for a release must always exactly match the actual art for that specific release.” The current cover art for this release is an exact copy of the cover art on the vinyl release (differing only in scan quality), whilst the digital release has its own official cover art, so therefore the current art does not meet the style guidelines.

If I have made any mistakes, let me know, and if not an upvote for the edit would be appreciated.

Because that online store has different cover art to the others, there should be two releases on MB:

That is, there are two different versions of the digital release, with different cover art.

The claim is that the release being edited was originally added with Boomkat as the source (indirectly, via Discogs) and so that is what it should ideally be kept as (so that the release ID did not refer to different releases at different times). That would make the downvote correct: the different cover art from Apple, and associated links, should be added to a second digital media release instead.
