This looks incredibly useful! I will try to get a chance to try it later.

ii. Perfect hits are automatically selected, while ambiguous or non existent entities are left for the user to resolve or ignore

Are the Discogs links added to MB if the user resolves them?

Are the Discogs links added to MB if the user resolves them?

If entity is created by using “Create” button, it is added automatically. If entity already exists, it is only checked, if it doesn’t have discogs link button “Add link” shows. If entity is found by name, it has a discogs link, but it differs from the link in discogs credits, you are warned to check it out.

Note that it is very useful to add links as they are used for automated selection, especially if you need to repeat it later or for different release that uses the same group of people.

I already added many albums, some of which have 100-500 relations. I checked all of them for parity and it looks like thats it.

Awesome script. Works very well. I have one request. Can you change it to put the arranger on the recordings instead of the works? Most of the time that is where it should be.

Morning. Can some one please explain to me how to install this script. I use tempermonkey. Should I install something else? I clicked on the blue link that is been given but nothing happens. Please explain it in a way that I can understand too. I’m not very good with those things.

@tigerman325 OK. This is the current list in case somebody is up for detailed revision:

@Tiske_Tisja, just click Install here, then go to the release that have discogs URL and enter Edit relationships to see the interface

@Tiske_Tisja

Windowslover I dont understand, I know how to add covers… What has this got to do with my question about the user script?

Thank you majkinetor I did install it the correct way, however I dont see any buttons

The video shows how to install the script from the cover, but you only need to change the script. The rest of the guide is the same for other scripts.

Windowlover, I have installed the script but like I said I dont see any buttons. I’m using tampermonkey could that be the problem?

Ah, indeed. The script is from outside MB. My video won’t help.

@Tiske_Tisja

Only 2 steps:

Release must have (or not) Discogs links in this section: (I guess)

4 places:

And I think the browser needs to be in Developer mode.

Thank you Windows

No buttons

Maybe this release doesn’t exist on Discogs.

Have you enabled Developer mode in browser?

@Tiske_Tisja First add discogs link to the release. Then go to the edit relashipnships page. Script cant work without discogs link. See animated gifs.

So I was right above. :wink:
