Identical recording except for the voice track

Hey!
Quick question before I do some editing: if I have a track of a work with music+voice and another track with music only, how should I treat that? It’s not different recordings for the music, voice was added on one track and not on the other.
Should I have two different recordings, one marked as a karaoke of the other? Should I have an instrumental recording, a voice recording, and the track with voice+music being a mash-up of the other two? Something else?

These are always separate Recordings. There is never a case where anything being described would share a Recording.

Also, context is needed to answer the rest of the question.

A bit of context: Léo Ferré released la Frime in 1977 with music and vocals recorded in mars 1977 ( Léo Ferré - La Frime ). A compilation includes those tracks plus the instrumental tracks ( Léo Ferré - Tout Ferré dans une bouteille... (Acte IV) : « nous vous proposons les play-back orchestre de tous les titres symphoniques des albums »).

I would link these recordings as being karaoke of the full song (work), if indeed it’s the backing tracks, without the lead melody vocal track, and without a new instrumental track covering the otherwise missing lead melody part.

And also I would link recording as karaoke of the recording, but only if they are the same record orchestra backing tracks.
Not if it’s another take, another recording session or another orchestra.
In which case, the link to the work is already enough.
