There are two albums from Cradle of Filth which apparently are the same but with different title and different content.
There’s Live Bait for the Dead and Eleven Burial Masses
According to Wikipedia:
Eleven Burial Masses
A 2007 release by Peaceville Records combines the first disc of Live Bait for the Dead with the Heavy, Left-Handed and Candid DVD (minus the bonus features). The “eleven” of the title does not take into account the instrumentals “The Ceremony Opens” and “Creatures That Kissed in Cold Mirrors”.
also in Metal Archives both releases show in both groups:
Eleven Burial Masses https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Cradle_of_Filth/Eleven_Burial_Masses/420980
Live Bait for the Dead https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Cradle_of_Filth/Live_Bait_for_the_Dead/6584
So despite existing two separate release groups on MB, the argentine release of “Eleven Burial Masses” was added on the “Live Bait for the Dead” group (I looked for it in the proper release group, didnt find it so added it again and now I guess I should merge them later)
So I have two questions:
1- what’s the righ way to handle this situation? Two release groups? Should I move “Eleven Burial Masses” from “Live Bait for the Dead” to “11 Burial Masses”?
2- shoud the “11 Burial Masses” release group be changed to “Eleven Burial Masses” since that’s how it’s spelled on the release?
Thank you!!!

For me, different content means that they are not the same release groups.
Same same, but different?

That’s really complicated.
I think, I would put it all in the same RG. The major content of all releases is the same live show and everything is featured on Wikipedia in the same article.
The other option would be to make 3 RGs:
- Live Bait for the Dead … the original CDs
- Heavy Left‐Handed and Candid … the DVD release
- Eleven Burial Masses … a compilation of CD and DVD
Both is possible. The single-CD Eleven Burial Masses is probably not correct (apart from release date, look at the Amazon link - the is a second CD). Still, my choice would be same RG.

Going by the different release dates, titles, covers, track lists, and the rule that video recordings should always be separate from audio-only recordings, the “Heavy, Left-Handed and Candid” DVD was first, the "Live Bait for the Dead’ CDs a separate release, and “Eleven Burial Masses” a later compilation of the live parts of both. So, a long way to say I’d agree with ernstlx’s second option.

Thanks to all who contributed to the discussion, I think I’d prefer a separate RG too.
As @ernstlx points out, Eleven Burial Masses is a combination of two previous releases, which in my opinion would make it a different release on its own.
So I’m going to change the Argentinean release from Live Bait to Eleven Burial, and see if any othe contributor is against it and their reasons, and link this thread on the comments.
Would that be ok?
Thanks again!
Do what you think is best. I will support your decision.
But if you choose separate RGs, there is much more to do.
A new RG for Heavy Left‐Handed and Candid, the title of the RG 11 Burial Masses should probably be changed to “Eleven” in letters (as on front).
Two British releases have to be moved, too. The one with the missing second disc should have the release date corrected (it was not released January 1) or this will be the earliest release date of the RG.
And then you have a genuine 13-track 11 Burial Masses release, which is not a compilation, but neither has it a bonus remix disc like all Live Bait for the Dead releases have…
My preferred option would be much easier:
Merge RGs, add aliases for the included albums, done. You don’t even have to write an annotation, because it’s all explained in the linked Wikipedia article.
EDIT: I like to add:
It’s not because it’s easier that I’m arguing for the first option. I think it’s the better one!
All releases are based on the same audio recordings. It was released with different titles in various formats and media, first as a DVD, then as an audio CD with bonus disc, then CD and DVD together or audio only on Spotify. In such cases, I think it’s better to keep them together.

I didn’t follow everything but it sounds like:
- Audio RG
- Video RG
- Audio+Video RG (don’t forget to link it as includes 1 and 2)
