so, I’ve got a series of top music charts that I’m wondering if (and if so, how) I should add to MusicBrainz. they’re similar to the Billboard charts (which I know we can’t add due to copyright), but they were independently run by some guys on the internet, based on views/likes on YouTube (and maybe SoundCloud), and focused to only Brony music
the yearly charts are pretty straightforward (I’ve added similar before, like the vote-based charts of Top Brony Music), but what might be the best way to add these? just add a bunch of weekly charts just like the yearlys? could get a bit messy, since in the example below, many tracks have been on the chart for 20-30 weeks, so that’s at least 20-30 series (this is around the 100th weekly chart, for context), but I think it could be interesting data nonetheless
(for those looking at the charts, I believe the abbreviations in the chart header are Position, Peak, Last Week, and Weeks On, respectively. the only important number for adding to MusicBrainz would be the position, I believe)
(also, I think I will be adding the yearly charts first, once I finish with Top Brony Music. I don’t know if I will actually add the weekly charts, unless I can partially automate it)
