The relation “manufactured by” exists (which is, by the way, not the same as “printed by”), but there is no correct way to add these companies. I use “publisher” and leave the type open at the moment.
On every release you can add “manufactured by”, located under labels, to that release. I’m not sure what else you’d want to add that relationship to. It has no problem with using any label name you want.
Yes, what I menat is that you can’t add the companies with a description. You only can chose “publisher”, “imprint” and “distributor”.

I agree we’re currently missing many types for Publisher entities.
What would you call the the you are missing for this case?

Since the precise type of company will be added via relations later, a term like “manufacturing company” might be good enough. This term would comprise printing, binding, manufacturing, typesetting and similar companies.

I opted for “Manufacturer”, after some reading of various manufacturer associations.
